The Stratford upon Avon 10k started fairly easily with a reasonably level start then progressed to a slight downhill incline which have a great view of the runners up ahead as they ran up the hill in front. Downside of this was I also had to run up that hill, and the several others that followed.
By the halfway point I was exhausted and thirsty. I didn’t carry any water with me as I was relying on the water stand at the 5k point, so was very disappointed to find that they were running so low on water by the time I got there I only got a tiny drop.
The terrain finally levelled out and the run along the greenway was at least flat, but very dull. I finished the run in just over 1 hour 11 minutes and raised £395 for the Miscarriage Association.
